Engineered and handmade and fully assembled in the UK, the Monk Reefblade is built for the serious spearfisher who demands performance, durability, and unwavering grip under pressure. The blade shape and serration profile has been specially developed for optimal dispatch of fish and cutting through cord, mono, and even thin gauge steel cable.

• 14C28N Sandvik Stainless Steel Blade

Cryo-treated and inert gas hardened at 1050°C, then double-tempered for optimal edge retention and toughness. Rockwell Hardness: 59–61 HRC.

• Exceptional Edge Retention

A fine-tuned heat treatment process ensures long-lasting sharpness even after repeated use in harsh saltwater environments.

• Ergonomic Textured Handle

Grooved for maximum grip, even with thick gloves. Large handle format for full control during high-stress moments like dispatching game or cutting lines.

• Durable Kydex Sheath

Form-fitted, low-profile, and ergonomically designed for rapid deployment without sacrificing security.

• Integrated Coil Lanyard

Stay connected. The lanyard stretches to 1m in length and prevents loss during fast action, especially when dealing with powerful fish.

• Always rinse with fresh water after every dive.

• Apply Vaseline to the blade periodically for enhanced corrosion resistance.

• Do not machine wash — high heat can compromise the blade’s hardness and deform the sheath.

🛡️ Safety & Handling

The Monk Reefblade is a precision tool designed for underwater use by spearfishers and divers. Please observe the following safety guidelines when handling, storing, and transporting the knife:

• Always handle with care. The blade holds an exceptionally sharp edge — always cut in a safe direction and exercise caution when removing the blade from the sheath as holding in the incorrect place can result in injury.

• Keep sheathed when not in use. The durable Kydex sheath is designed for secure retention and quick access. Ensure the knife is locked in place before diving, transport or storage.

• Use only as intended. This knife is purpose-built for underwater cutting tasks and dispatching game. Never use it for prying as this may chip the tip, compromising the blade potentially causing injury.

• Secure your gear. Always use the attached coil lanyard to prevent loss during a dive and avoid accidental drops in or out of water.

• Store responsibly. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry place after cleaning and applying protective lubricant such as vaseline for the most prolonged lifespan.

As the Monk Reefblade is a predominantly handmade piece, there is likely to be slight discrepancies in appearance from what is photographed, this could include minor surface scratches on the blade and sheath.
